About The Position

Related Commercial Management Companies is seeking a highly motivated and organized Summer Analyst to join the RCMC Asset Management team. The role assists with analyzing monthly performance and budget projections for commercial assets, including the Hudson Yards campus, Columbus Circle, and various office assets throughout New York City. The position also supports financial analysis and deal modeling to inform decisions. This role is part of Related’s formal 10-week internship program. Interns work on critical projects alongside real estate professionals in an innovative, fast-paced environment. The program includes a speaker series, networking events, professional development and training, volunteering, portfolio tours, and intern-led activities.

Requirements

Be a current undergraduate sophomore or junior with a target graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
Have a strong passion for real estate and project management.
Have excellent quantitative and analytical skills and experience with Excel.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of technical skills and job-specific knowledge.
Have strong organizational skills.
Be able to work across multiple teams.
Demonstrate clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
Be a self-starter with a proactive approach to tasks and challenges.
Be able to navigate ambiguity and adapt to challenges in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in analyzing monthly performance and budget projections and comparing them with the annual management plan.
Review budget reports covering income, expenses, and cash flows.
Assist with financial analysis of construction and development projects.
Conduct deal modeling using cash flows and projections to drive decisions.
