About The Position
Prudential is seeking motivated and goal-orientated interns to join our team for the 2027 Corporate, Chief Investment Office (CIO) Summer Analyst Program. This approximately 10-week program offers a valuable opportunity to work on impactful projects, demonstrate skills and talents, and contribute meaningfully to organization initiatives. The internship is designed to foster learning, growth, and networking, serving as a potential first step towards a long-term career with Prudential, with opportunities to return as an intern or transition into a full-time role upon successful completion. The Chief Investment Office (CIO) is a major strategic partner across the enterprise, responsible for asset/liability management, interest rate risk management, and oversight of product investment margin performance and related hedge management activities. With over $400 billion in assets under management, the CIO manages investment portfolios for Prudential’s General Accounts through its Alternative Assets Group and Global Hedge Management team, operating within Prudential Select Strategies LLC, and its U.S. and International Portfolio groups.
Requirements
- Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s program graduating between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Minimum 3.2 GPA recommended.
- Possess the requisite US employment authorization to be eligible for consideration.
- Prudential does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.

- Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Python, and/or the use of Coding Agents.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred majors include mathematics, engineering, economics, computer science, finance, actuarial sciences, or a similar quantitative subject area.
Responsibilities
- Work on impactful projects where you can demonstrate your skills and talents.
- Contribute in a meaningful way, add new value to organization initiatives and effect change.
- Originate, underwrite, and manage a diversified portfolio of fund investments to maximize risk-adjusted return on required capital (Alternative Assets Team).
- Provide comprehensive hedging solutions and efficient trade execution (Global Hedge Management).
- Implement and manage multiple hedge programs for the CIO and facilitate cross currency investment activity (Global Hedge Management).
- Develop asset-liability management-oriented portfolio strategies including target levels of interest rate exposure and asset allocation (U.S. Portfolio Management & International Portfolio Management).
- Select, direct, and oversee asset managers with scale and demonstrated expertise in the management of specific asset classes (U.S. Portfolio Management & International Portfolio Management).
