About The Position

As a Program Support Specialist supporting the Transformation and Training Command (T2COM) Headquarters Chief Information Office (CIO), you will play a critical role in enabling enterprise IT governance, software asset management, records management, and executive task management across T2COM Headquarters. Working alongside Government civilians, military personnel, and mission partners, you will provide analytical, administrative, and operational support that ensures the CIO maintains accurate software inventories, executes enterprise taskings, improves business processes, and delivers responsive customer support to Headquarters and subordinate organizations. This position provides the opportunity to directly influence enterprise-wide IT operations supporting over 30,000 personnel while working in a dynamic headquarters environment requiring collaboration across multiple staff directorates, Army organizations, and external vendors.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible experience supporting Government, DoD, or enterprise business operations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience utilizing SharePoint for document management and collaboration.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience developing reports, executive correspondence, and briefing materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced headquarters environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with Government personnel and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience researching, interpreting, and applying Government regulations, policies, and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting an Army Headquarters, Major Command (MACOM), or Headquarters Department of the Army organization.
  • Experience supporting Chief Information Officer (CIO), Information Technology, or Enterprise Services organizations.
  • Knowledge of Army software licensing and software asset management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile enterprise software inventories across multiple approved management systems.
  • Support software asset lifecycle management including user account administration, inventory validation, license management, and software allocation.
  • Analyze software inventory data to identify discrepancies, trends, cost savings opportunities, and resource requirements.
  • Prepare and manage recurring software data calls supporting enterprise licensing and budget planning.
  • Assist with invoice reconciliation, software billing validation, and financial tracking activities.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and analytical products utilizing Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Maintain and improve automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), business processes, and technical documentation.
  • Support Above Baseline software acquisition tracking and reporting.
  • Produce graphical reports and executive-level briefings supporting CIO leadership decision making.
  • Assist with Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS) compliance and records management activities.
  • Coordinate with CIO directorates to ensure proper records retention and file management.
  • Monitor, coordinate, assign, track, and close Headquarters taskings utilizing Government task management systems.
  • Prepare senior leader staffing packages, correspondence, and executive action documents.
  • Develop and maintain task trackers, metrics, status reports, and trend analyses supporting CIO operations.
  • Coordinate with Headquarters staff, subordinate organizations, and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of assigned actions.
  • Research Government regulations, policies, directives, and guidance to support organizational initiatives.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting Government personnel across multiple functional areas.
  • Recommend process improvements that increase efficiency, data quality, and organizational effectiveness.
