About The Position
Western Alliance Bank’s paid Summer Internship Program offers undergraduate students real-world experience and insight into a career in Commercial Banking. Interns work on challenging projects related to their area of study, collaborate with other interns and banking professionals, and receive support from a mentor. The program provides a fast-paced professional environment in which interns can apply knowledge and skills gained through their education and contribute to business projects. The 10-week program runs from June through August, with flexible dates based on school schedules. It includes business projects, mentoring, leadership development training, and team-building activities. Interns who perform well and demonstrate the company’s values may be considered for future employment opportunities.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in a related field of study.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
- Interest in the Commercial Business Banking industry.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis; the program does not offer employment-based immigration sponsorship or support for OPT or CPT.
