About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join our team in a public-facing court operations role. This position serves as a primary point of contact for individuals accessing court services and requires strong communication skills, professionalism, accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, maintain accurate court records, support courtroom operations, and assist individuals in navigating court-related processes while adhering to established policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements. This position requires an individual who can effectively learn and apply court procedures, operational workflows, scheduling requirements, technology systems, and specialized software while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years or more of professional experience utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • 5+ years or more of professional experience navigating Computer Management System (CMS) platforms
  • Proven track record of excellence in a professional, public-facing customer service environment
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to specialized software used for legal record-keeping and docket management

  • Strong organizational skills with a commitment to accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of documentation.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and ensure records are maintained according to established procedures.
  • Proficiency with typing, keyboarding, and standard computer applications.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for the public, providing professional, courteous, and timely assistance.
  • Respond to questions and provide guidance regarding court procedures, processes, requirements, and available resources.
  • Communicate information clearly and professionally while maintaining confidentiality and appropriate customer service standards.
  • Assist individuals with navigating court-related processes and explain procedures in a manner that is understandable and helpful.
  • Maintain accurate records, dockets, and documentation related to traffic, criminal, and civil court proceedings.
  • Perform data entry, record updates, document processing, and information retrieval using electronic systems.
  • Review records and documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of court records, case information, and sensitive documentation.
  • Process, organize, and maintain physical and electronic records.
  • Ensure documentation is filed accurately and timely within established systems.
  • Support daily court operations through effective administrative coordination and record management.
  • Assist with scheduling-related activities and operational processes as needed.
  • Assist individuals with routine questions and concerns while following established guidelines and procedures.
  • Handle challenging interactions professionally and appropriately.
