Suites/Concession Staff
About The Position
This job involves serving food to guests with a high level of customer service, maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness, and striving to provide guests with a memorable experience by anticipating their needs. The role requires teamwork, assisting with banquet equipment, room setup, and table preparation. It also involves establishing and maintaining positive client relationships, ensuring accurate cash handling, adhering to health codes, preparing food and beverages, and following all rules and regulations for serving alcohol. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Must understand and practice the concept of teamwork.
- Must have attention to detail.
- Must have good oral and written communication skills and understand instructions and guest request.
- Must have strong customer service skills.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands, frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.
- Daily lifting up to 20 lbs., constant reaching, stooping, standing and walking.
- Must be able to balance serving trays and have good manual dexterity.
- Performing work through repetitive eye/hand coordination.
- Must be able to work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holiday's as needed.
- Must be able to pass a background check to include a credit history report and meet corporate minimum requirements.
Responsibilities
- Serves food to guest with high level of customer service.
- Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas.
- Strive to provide guest with a memorable experience and exceed their expectations by anticipating their needs.
- Assist with collecting all banquet equipment to include flatware, china, glassware, and serving pieces needed for each event.
- Assist with preparation and set-up of event room when necessary.
- Prepare tables with place settings as instructed.
- Establish and maintain positive client relationships.
- Maintain accurate cash handling procedures at all times.
- Ensure health codes are followed.
- Prepares food and beverage for customer.
- Follow all rules and regulations for serving alcohol.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
