Suite Club Bartender - Spectrum Center
About The Position
This position involves preparing and serving beverages to guests in a designated bar area with a focus on friendly, courteous, and timely service. The role requires adherence to liquor regulations, stocking and maintaining bar supplies, preparing garnishes, greeting guests, taking and processing drink orders, mixing and presenting drinks, checking guest identification, detecting and acting upon guest inebriation, receiving and verifying payments, securing beverage products and equipment, performing cleaning tasks to maintain health and safety standards, and keeping the work area clean and organized. The bartender will also maintain an attractive display in the bar area and wash and sterilize barware. This role is with Levy at the Spectrum Center.
Requirements
- Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Checks guests at the bar for proper identification.
- Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained. Demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws.
- Maintains stock, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
- Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keeps work area clean and organized.
- Washes and sterilizes barware.

Responsibilities
- Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Sets up assigned bars; requisitions and stocks all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.
- Maintains stock, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
- Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
- Takes and/or processes orders for drinks; mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practices prudent portion control.
- Checks guests at the bar for proper identification.
- Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained. Demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws.
- Receives payment where applicable from guests, verifies validity of charges and records charges.
- Locks up and stores all beverage products, food, equipment items.
- Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keeps work area clean and organized.
- Maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
- Washes and sterilizes barware.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
