About The Position

A SUE Analyst organizes field work and instructs crew members to accurately and efficiently collect field data related to locating and designating underground utilities. This role requires specific knowledge to safely perform all duties compliant with industry standards and company policies & procedures. The analyst will maintain traffic and review jobsite safety daily, communicate effectively with clients, contractors, staff, and supervisors, and take immediate action to document and resolve issues. They will adhere to and execute project scope, schedule, and budget, keeping accurate records and providing daily reports. The role also involves creating legible field sketches using simple mathematics and basic field measurements.

Requirements

  • High School/GED or equivalent preferred.
  • 2 years experience using GPR, Radio Frequency locators, and vacuum excavation equipment.
  • Ability to walk outdoors for long periods of time through all kinds of terrain, including urban, suburban, and rural locations, and working under adverse conditions (heat, cold, hills, swamps, wildlife & insects, high traffic areas).
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, carry, and operate equipment as needed on the project.
  • Ability to travel outside of the Greenville area daily; occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Work 50 hours during busy periods.
  • Work unsupervised when required.
  • Pass background & motor vehicle checks, and pre-employment drug screening.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Current Commercial Drivers License is a plus.
