The Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Manager is a senior technical and client-facing leadership role responsible for building, managing, and growing the firm’s Subsurface Utility Engineering practice. In this position, you’ll lead utility designation and exploration efforts, oversee Level B and Level A investigations and locates, and establish consistent standards for SUE delivery in accordance with ASCE 38-22. You’ll play a key role in developing internal SUE workflows, managing field and office coordination, and ensuring utility data is collected, interpreted, and delivered with a high level of technical accuracy. Just as importantly, you’ll help grow the practice through client relationships, pursuit strategy, proposal leadership, and business development efforts. This role also includes oversight of project performance, including budgets, schedules, productivity, QA/QC, and team development.
