Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Highschool Diploma/GED.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to maintain required certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of utility locating or designating using many types of pipe and cable locating devices.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE).
- Understanding basic traffic control and the hazards associated with working in and around traffic and follow safety precautions.
- Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) experience.
- Surveying experience.
- CADD experience.
- Vacuum excavation truck experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a vacuum excavation truck and related equipment safely and efficiently.
- Designate/locate a variety of underground utilities.
- Create legible field sketches.
- Perform simple mathematics.
- Perform field measurements.
- Document daily activities.
- Perform records research.
