About The Position

Tri-Cities Treatment Center is seeking an SUDP Counselor Admissions - Remote to join our compassionate clinical team. If helping others thrive is your calling, we want to meet you. This role involves assisting with admissions of new clients to the program by completing ASAM Assessments including psychosocial profiles, and conducting screening profiles for program admission. You will also provide telehealth counseling to current and new clients on a limited basis, assist clients in identifying and maximizing their strengths to achieve social, educational, and occupational goals, and serve as a source of hope and support for clients transitioning to a drug-free existence. Ensuring clients receive the best care by adhering to program policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements is crucial. All duties must be performed within the scope of the professional license and certification.

Requirements

  • Washington SUDP/SUDP-T licensure.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Meet Washington requirements for employment in an opioid treatment program.
  • Must commit to 2 weeks in-house training before working remote.
  • Must live in the WA state.
  • Follow federal guidelines regarding prohibited substances, even those legal at the state level.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with admissions of new clients to the program by completing ASAM Assessments including psychosocial profile, and conducting screening profile for admit to the program.
  • Telehealth counseling of current and new clients on a limited basis.
  • Assisting clients in identifying, maximizing, and relating their strengths to appropriate social, educational (academic and vocational), and occupational goals.
  • Be a beacon of hope for clients as they adjust to a drug free existence, providing emotional and physical support through their journey.
  • Ensure clients receive the best care by adhering to program policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform duties with dedication and within the scope of their professional license and certification.
