HealthRIGHT 360 is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing accessible and comprehensive healthcare services to vulnerable populations, aiming to tackle systemic barriers and promote health equity. Their services include mental health care, substance use treatment (residential and outpatient), and primary health services, along with transitional support for individuals re-entering the community. HealthRIGHT 360 integrates physical and behavioral health to empower individuals through addressing social determinants of health, fostering resilience, and facilitating recovery. North County Serenity House (NCSH), a residential program of HealthRIGHT 360, has been providing substance use disorder services since 1966. NCSH offers a gender-responsive and trauma-informed environment for up to 120 women (and up to 20 children under 5) seeking recovery from substance use disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices that acknowledge the impact of trauma. For clients with co-occurring mental illness, integrated substance use and mental health services are provided. The SUD Counselor is a key member of an interdisciplinary team, supporting clients through needs and strengths assessment to promote health and recovery. This in-person role involves individual and group counseling, curriculum delivery, case management, system navigation, and fostering a supportive treatment environment.
