About The Position

The Succession Planning Analyst role is within the Capital Partners & Client Solutions division at LPL Financial. This fast-growing division focuses on delivering innovative, industry-leading services to help advisor practices grow, protect, and plan for their legacy. The Succession Planning team provides end-to-end legacy planning support for LPL's over 32,000 advisors. The Analyst will support the delivery of seamless Succession Planning Support offerings.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, or Economics (or a related discipline)
  • 2+ years of wealth management, corporate finance, investment banking, or corporate development customer service
  • Written and verbal communication skills, ability to synthesize complex processes and communicate into digestible messages, ability to present complex topics in an engaging way with partners and clients
  • Ability to execute strategies and track successful delivery
  • Problem-solving skills, ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and pivot as needed
  • Ability to work within a team, take the initiative, and show strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work comfortably with incomplete information and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-driven individual with a high level of motivation
  • Positive attitude with a commitment to excellence and integrity

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce
  • Knowledge of financial concepts

Responsibilities

  • Support succession service offerings and maintain/create efficient processes
  • Manage succession planning project intake and workflows utilizing internal resources to ensure milestones are completed and advisor expectations are met
  • Oversee escalations by both internal business partners and our advisors
  • Understand continuity, succession, and corporate planning options to guide advisors to make educated decisions
  • Support succession planning engagements with the ability to implement clear and concise strategies
  • Leverage technology to automate manual work and simplify processes where feasible to create a highly scalable, flexible, and efficient infrastructure
  • Interface with business unit counterparts to address specific needs of advisors
  • Ad-hoc analysis, financial data entry, and additional responsibilities as required
  • Present new ideas as we expand and iterate on our product offerings
