SuccessFactors Functional Lead
About The Position
Data-Core Systems, Inc. is seeking a SuccessFactors Functional Lead for its Consulting team. The role contributes to the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, provides functional and systems-design expertise for initiatives, and works with subject-matter-expert consultants. The client is a roadway system undertaking a digital transformation with a solution based on SAP BRIM and Microsoft Dynamics CE. The Functional Lead will work with client business and IT stakeholders to define requirements and configure SuccessFactors Reward & Recognition (R&R), including award programs, workflows, permissions, and dashboards. The role also reviews functional design documents, conducts configuration showbacks, supports system and user acceptance testing, resolves functional defects, and assists with go-live and production validation. Configuration must align with the client’s EC Mini-Master and User Data File data model.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of SAP SuccessFactors functional experience.
- At least 3 full-cycle Reward & Recognition module implementations.
- Experience with EC Mini-Master environments.
- Deep expertise configuring the SAP SuccessFactors Reward & Recognition module.
- Experience with Role-Based Permissions, workflow configuration, and approval-chain design in SuccessFactors.
- Experience with EC Mini-Master and User Data File data models.
- Experience with SuccessFactors provisioning, instance management, and environment promotion from Dev through QA/T1 to Prod.
- Experience authoring and reviewing functional design specifications.
- Experience with integration touchpoints between Reward & Recognition and third-party rewards vendors.
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP SuccessFactors Compensation (or R&R equivalent) certification is required.

Responsibilities
- Lead requirements workshops with client business and IT stakeholders and document functional requirements.
- Configure peer-to-peer, spot-award, and years-of-service award programs, workflows, Role-Based Permissions, and the recognition dashboard.
- Review and approve Functional Design Specifications drafted by the Business Analyst.
- Conduct showback sessions with client stakeholders at key configuration milestones.
- Support SIT and UAT, resolve functional defects, and document configuration changes.
- Ensure configuration aligns with the client’s EC Mini-Master and UDF data model.
- Review and approve updated FDS, TDS, and QRS documents following testing changes.
- Support go-live cutover, smoke testing, and production validation activities.
