The Junior High Success Coach supports students in Calgary Board of Education junior high schools to improve attendance, school engagement, wellbeing, and readiness for high school. The role builds trusted relationships with students and families, identifies barriers early, and coordinates practical supports that help students stay connected to school and community. Working closely with school teams, caregivers, and community partners, the Success Coach provides strengths-based, trauma-informed case management, family support, crisis response, resource navigation, and transition planning for students who need additional support to succeed.
