Soccer Coach - Junior High
About The Position
BASIS Scottsdale is seeking qualified candidates for a Soccer Coach. This is part of an auxiliary program and is not a full-time position. Requirements
- HS diploma
- Previous coaching experience
- Experience working with young athletes
- Ability to demonstrate soccer skills effectively
- Experience in playing soccer at a competitive level
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's preferred
- Collegiate student-athlete experience
Responsibilities
- Effectively teaching young athletes the fundamentals of soccer (starting from how to kick a ball properly)
- Creating and implementing drills to help build foundational skills
- Coaching students through best practices in sportsmanship
- Attending all games, practices, or scrimmages
