About The Position
The Junior High Pom Coach is responsible for developing and maintaining an efficient and competitive athletic program. This role involves coaching, fundraising, running camps and clinics, and ensuring compliance with all AIA Bylaws.
Requirements
- NFHS Concussion Course
- NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching
- NFHS Bullying, Hazing & Inappropriate Behaviors Course
- Must pass a background clearance
- Must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field.
Nice To Haves
- Head Coaches must also have NFHS Sport-Specific Course and First Aid Course
- 3+ years pom coaching experience preferred.
