Responsibilities
- Greet guests cheerfully and helpfully while preparing their orders.
- Demonstrate understanding of menu items and explain them accurately to guests.
- Use the point-of-sale system or cash register to record orders and calculate bills.
- Collect guest payments and provide change.
- Perform cash-in procedures, accounting for money, bread, and other items during the shift.
- Prepare food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner.
- Check and restock products in the sandwich unit area throughout the shift.
- Follow food-handling, safety, and sanitation standards during food preparation, service, and cleanup.
- Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant.
- Follow quality standards, formulas, and procedures.
- Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards.
- Perform light paperwork duties as assigned.
