About The Position

Kokua Education is hiring substitute teachers for the 2026–27 school year in Golden Acres and the surrounding Houston area. Substitute teachers work in K–12 schools, stepping in for daily or long-term assignments and helping create positive, supportive classroom experiences. Requirements

• At least one year of experience working with children in any setting, such as a classroom, tutoring, or coaching.
• At least 48 college credit hours completed.

• Pass state and federal background checks; the costs are reimbursed after 10 assignments.
• Include relevant experience working with students on the resume.

Responsibilities
