About The Position
St. Patrick Catholic School is seeking Substitute Teachers to provide instruction when the regular classroom teacher is absent. Substitute Teachers follow the absent teacher’s lesson plans, teach students in various subjects, and help maintain a safe, positive learning environment. The role requires flexibility and availability for on-call or short-notice assignments, along with compliance with school policies and completion of required screenings, trainings, paperwork, and reports.
Requirements
- Teaching certification or substitute teacher certification is required.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to adapt to various teaching styles and environments.
- Flexibility and availability to work on short notice.
- Complete Level II Background Screenings and Safe Environment Trainings.
- Comply with all school policies and procedures.
- Willingness to commit to on-call or short-notice assignments.
- Ability to build rapport with students and staff effectively.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred.
Responsibilities
