About The Position

The Substitute Teacher enhances student learning during the period of absence of the regular classroom teacher. The Substitute Teacher is responsible for maintaining the program’s educational requirement as well as meeting the children’s individual needs. There are two substitute opportunities available: Tier 1 – Center-Based On-Call Floater, which offers a flexible, on-call schedule (up to 3 shifts per week) and is assigned to one Educare school to provide classroom coverage for daily absences, planning blocks, or short-term needs.
