Part-time Substitute Teacher - Up to $167 daily
About The Position
Kokua is seeking Substitute Teachers in Fort Worth, TX for the 2025-26 school year. This part-time role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact in the community by connecting students with classroom role models and helping to address the teacher shortage crisis. Substitute teachers will enjoy a flexible schedule, autonomy in choosing assignments and locations, and weekly paychecks. Requirements
- 1+ year(s) working with students in any setting (classroom, tutoring, coaching, camps, etc.)
- Minimum of 48 college credit hours
- Confidence to manage a classroom of students
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Strong belief that every child has a unique & powerful gift to share with the world
- Ability to pass state & federal background checks

Responsibilities
- Lead classrooms and help create a safe, supportive learning environment.
- Step in where needed throughout the school day to support the campus, including lunch/recess supervision, hall and bathroom monitoring, tutoring, and proctoring during testing season.
- Positively contribute to the community by sparking a love for learning with students.
- Add representation to the classroom to help kids learn from unique experiences.
