About The Position
Bright Horizons is hiring an on-call Substitute Teacher to support young learners in early education and preschool classrooms. The role offers flexibility and may involve working at different centers and with various age groups. The employee provides supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services in accordance with Bright Horizons policies and applicable laws and regulations, while ensuring children’s safety. The position is performed in person at an early education/preschool child care center.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Pass required state and company background checks.
- Meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool settings.
- A CDA, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree in early education or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Assist with hands-on activities that meet children’s needs and interests.
- Maintain open communication with parents and share their child’s daily milestones.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
- Provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services in accordance with Bright Horizons policies, procedures, and guidance.
