About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time Substitute Teacher to teach in a classical classroom for up to 14 hours per week at our center in St. Leo, Florida. This role does not require a teaching certification or formal teaching experience, as comprehensive training will be provided. The academy offers instruction in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. This is an hourly position with provided childcare/nursery. Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and demonstrate a deep love for the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be supplied, and tutors will be trained in instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, good organization, punctuality, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and must be actively living the Catholic faith, including having received all appropriate sacraments. All staff undergo a background check and RCA Safe Child training before teaching.
