About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time Substitute Teacher to teach in a classical classroom for up to 14 hours per week at our center in St. Leo, Florida. This role does not require a teaching certification or formal teaching experience, as comprehensive training will be provided. The academy offers instruction in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. The positions are hourly, and childcare/nursery is provided. Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and demonstrate a deep love for the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be provided, and tutors will be trained in instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching. The academic year hours at the center are Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. Tutors are expected to prepare for classes at home and teach in a highly structured environment.

Requirements

• Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Deep love for the Catholic faith.
• Living the Catholic faith day-to-day.
• Having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
• Completion of a background check.
• Completion of RCA Safe Child training.
