About The Position

Bergamo Montessori at Serrano is seeking a Substitute Childcare Teacher to maintain continuity in its educational programs when regular teachers are absent. The role involves supporting young children’s development in a safe, positive learning environment. The ideal candidate is flexible and patient, and has a genuine interest in working with young children. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center.
Prior experience with toddler and preschool students.
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet.
12 Child Development Units, required by the State of California.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners.
