About The Position

Bell Creek Academy is seeking a Substitute Teacher to provide instruction and classroom management in the absence of regular teachers. The substitute teacher will follow lesson plans prepared by the absent teacher and maintain classroom routines and procedures. This role requires adherence to school policies and effective student supervision.

Requirements

• Must have 60 hours of secondary education.
• Substitute Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to the building principal or school office manager upon arrival.
• Review plans and schedules with the principal, department head, or team leader.
• Maintain established routines and procedures of the school and classroom.
• Teach lessons outlined in the Substitute Teacher’s guide.
• Oversee pupil behavior in class, during lunch, and recess periods.
• Submit a written report on the day's activities to the office manager.
• Follow all policies, rules, and procedures.
