About The Position

Christian Heritage School is seeking Substitute Teachers (K-12) who will be responsible for operating a safe, orderly, and positive classroom environment while the regular teacher is absent. They will follow the teacher’s lesson plans and equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to function as mature, responsible Christians in accordance with the school mission statement. Preference will be given to candidates who are available for multiple days, and flexible with accepting last-minute assignments, including those with less than 24 hours' notice or same-day requests.

Requirements

• A clear understanding and acceptance of basic Biblical principles
• An understanding of and adherence to the school’s Statement of Faith
• A love for and understanding of children and young people
• Maturity
• Ability to work as a team member
• Must provide current background check
