Hawkeye Area Community Action Program, Inc. (HACAP) is a dynamic nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the lives of families and individuals in our communities across nine counties. We believe in the power of collaboration, working alongside for-profit businesses, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, and local community members to create stronger, healthier communities. The Substitute Teacher supports the classroom in the absence of assigned staff in maintaining a nurturing and supportive education program for participating children. Substitute Teachers do not have a regular set schedule or guaranteed hours. Employees are contacted to work on an as-needed basis to provide classroom coverage when regular staff are absent and to maintain required staff-to-child ratios.
