Teachers Now is hiring Substitute Teachers to support local schools throughout Houston North &South, Katy, Spring, Sugar Land, Cypress, and Bridgeland, TX. Requirements

• Minimum of 60 college credit hours or an Associate's Degree
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Reliable, adaptable, and professional
• Passion for supporting student learning in a K–12 school environment

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of childcare, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or related experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Follow teacher lesson plans and guide students through daily instruction
• Maintain a structured, respectful, and productive classroom environment
• Manage student behavior and keep students engaged throughout the school day
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and recess as needed
• Communicate effectively with school administrators and staff regarding student behavior or concerns
• For long-term Substitute Teacher assignments, additional responsibilities may include lesson planning and providing enhanced classroom support.
