Substitute Teachers for 2026-2027
About The Position
Waynflete is seeking Substitute Teachers for the Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role involves providing half or whole day coverage for students in grades EC-5 and/or 6-12. Training and orientation will be provided. The pay rate is $75 for a half day and $150 for a whole day. Requirements
- Completed two or more years of college.
- Demonstrate enjoyment of working with children in grades EC-5 and/or 6-12.
- Maine Department of Education fingerprinting (CHRC) and a background check are required.
- Knowledge, skills, and ability to enhance the student experience and strengthen the community.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
