About The Position
The Substitute Teacher role at Ridge Park Charter Academy is an on-call, as-needed position. Opportunities to substitute will vary depending on the absence of a teacher. This is a non-benefit eligible role with a daily substitute rate of $140.00. National Heritage Academies (NHA) partners with communities to build and operate public charter schools, aiming to eliminate the achievement gap and prepare students for success. NHA operates over 100 schools in nine states, serving over 65,000 students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

- Must meet state requirements for being a Substitute.
Responsibilities
- Ability to execute a lesson plan that is assigned by the teacher.
- Provide clear instruction and assist scholars in understanding a subject matter while maintaining discipline and control of the classroom.
- Demonstrate moral focus and personal values to all stakeholders.
- Self-starter with effective classroom management skills, strong leadership, and a passion for educating students.
