Substitute Teacher - up to $210 daily
About The Position
Kokua is seeking substitute teachers for the 2025-26 school year in Brooklyn and surrounding NYC areas. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact in the community by connecting students with classroom role models and empowering them to be their best. Requirements
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree (per NYC requirement)
- 1+ year(s) experience working with K-12 students
- Confidence to manage a classroom of students
- Ability to pass a background check
- Availability within a 7:30am-4:30pm window, as start and end times vary by school
Nice To Haves
- Preference given to candidates who can work at least 3 days/week
- Preference is given to candidates willing to commute to 2+ boroughs
