Kokua is seeking elementary substitute teachers in Indianapolis for the 2025 - 2026 school year. Requirements

• 1+ year(s) experience working with students (tutoring, camps, volunteer and other experience counts!)
• Associate's degree or 60+ credit hours
• Confidence to manage a classroom of students
• Indiana Substitute Teacher Permit OR Indiana Educator License
• Must pass fingerprint-based background checks for individuals working in schools
• Ability to meet district-specific authorization requirements
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and able to complete required employment eligibility verification
