About The Position

The Substitute Teacher is an on-call, as-needed position. Opportunities to substitute vary depending on teacher absences. The role involves carrying out the absent teacher’s lesson plan, providing instruction, helping scholars understand subject matter, and maintaining classroom discipline and control. The substitute is expected to demonstrate moral focus and personal values to stakeholders and bring effective classroom management, leadership, initiative, and a passion for educating students. The position pays $130 per day and is not eligible for benefits.
