About The Position
Teachers Now is seeking dependable and enthusiastic Substitute Teachers to support schools throughout Houston, Cypress, Katy, and surrounding areas. This is a flexible opportunity for experienced educators, recent graduates, retired teachers, or anyone passionate about working with students. As a Substitute Teacher, you will help keep the classroom running smoothly, providing students with a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 60 College Credits or Associates
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dependable, responsible, and professional
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Positive attitude and willingness to support students
- Passion for helping students succeed
Nice To Haves
- Previous classroom, childcare, or youth-related experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by the classroom teacher
- Supervise and support students throughout the school day
- Assist students with classroom activities and assignments
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
- Take attendance and follow campus procedures
- Communicate professionally with school staff
- Follow all school policies and safety guidelines
