About The Position
Fallbrook Union Elementary School District (FUESD) is seeking Substitute Teachers for the 2026/2027 School Year. FUESD is located in the foothills approximately 50 miles northeast of San Diego, California, with a district area extending from the Pacific Ocean I-5 (San Clemente Area) to the East of the I-15.
Requirements
- Valid California teaching credential/permit
- Letter of introduction
- Resume
- Two letters of recommendation (preferably within the last year and at least one from a direct supervisor)
- Current California Credential or Permit
- Completed online application
- Human Resources contact information for ALL school districts where you have been employed in any capacity
- All required attachments scanned and attached in PDF format
- Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical
- Satisfactory completion of a drug/alcohol-screening test
- Satisfactory completion of fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and FBI
- Current verification of a negative T.B. test or chest x-ray
