Substitute Teacher, Utah County (2026-2027 school year)
About The Position
This temporary position is responsible for instructing classes to youth, helping them learn the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. The role involves lesson preparation, effective lesson presentation, and potentially teaching multiple classes. The position operates under the direction of a program administrator and requires a basic understanding of teaching, learning, and working with youth. The ultimate goal of this role is to help youth and young adults deepen their conversion to Jesus Christ and His restored gospel, qualify for the blessings of the temple, and prepare themselves, their families, and others for eternal life with their Father in Heaven. This is an entry-level position.
Requirements
- Attended a substitute teacher workshop
- Basic understanding in teaching, learning, and working with youth
- Worthy of a temple recommend
