Holyoke Community College (HCC) is seeking a Substitute Teacher for the Adult Learning Center, an evening community education program offering adult basic education classes focused on high school equivalency and career/college readiness. The program aims to guide learners in identifying career goals and developing essential skills for employment, job training, or postsecondary education. The substitute teacher will provide academic instruction as needed in Level 1, 2, & 3 classes (equivalent to grades 3-12) across Reading, Writing, Science, Social Studies, and Mathematics. Current needs are primarily in Reading/Writing, but applications for all subject areas are welcome. Classes are held in-person at the Picknelly Center (PAFEC) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, running from September through June.
