About The Position
Day to Day Paraprofessionals: Report To Classroom Teacher/Principal Position Summary: This is paraprofessional work of an instructional nature in a classroom setting or with small groups or individual students. A substitute in this class is responsible for assisting a teacher in carrying out a daily educational program. Work involves the development of effective personal relationships with children of all needs. Work requires the performance of various instructional, classroom, and clerical duties according to established procedures, which can be learned on the job. A substitute is provided with specific instructions and is under the direct supervision of a teacher or the school principal.
