Substitute School Psychologist
About The Position
The district is seeking a substitute School Psychologist (listed in the job summary as “SUBSTITUTE Psychologist I - Per Diem”). The expected need-to-start date is January 4, 2027. Compensation is paid monthly by timecard at $525.99 for a full day and $262.99 for a half day. Requirements
- Submit a complete, signed, and dated online application.
- Provide a cover letter or letter of introduction.
- Provide a resume.
- Provide two to three recent letters of recommendation.
- Provide a copy of the required credential; an unofficial copy is accepted with the application, but an official copy is required before the start date.
- Provide undergraduate and graduate transcripts; copies may be submitted with the application, but official transcripts are required at the time of hire.
- Hold a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Psychology.
- Complete fingerprinting and receive satisfactory Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation record checks before employment.
- Provide proof of a TB test upon employment.
- Pass a pre-employment physical.
- Complete the required employment disclosure by all former employers under AB2534 before employment.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual ability is preferred.
- May be required to obtain first aid and CPR certificates within the first 6–12 months of employment.
