About The Position
The Substitute School Nurse will function under the direction of the Certified School Nurse (CSN) to implement assigned and delegated duties of the school health program. This may include screenings, record keeping, and treating ill or injured students and staff. This position is for the 2026-2027 school year.
Requirements
- Must have and keep current a Pennsylvania professional nursing license, either LPN or RN.
- Must have and maintain a current CPR & AED certification.
- All required clearances must comply with the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s mandated criteria for hire.
Responsibilities
- Implement assigned and delegated duties of the school health program.
- Conduct screenings.
- Maintain records.
- Treat ill or injured students and staff.
