About The Position
Fort Vancouver Regional Libraries is seeking applicants from the Goldendale area for on-call substitute Public Services Assistant positions at the Goldendale Community Library. Candidates must be able to work at least three (3) shifts per month. Monday and Saturday availability is preferred. This is a great opportunity for people who have a passion for working with the public and want to make a positive impact in their communities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months of working with the public in a customer service setting (such as working in a retail store)
- Ability to work at least three (3) shifts per month
- Monday and Saturday availability is preferred

Responsibilities
- Assisting customers with questions about library services and technology
- Creating or updating customer accounts
- Shelving materials
- Checking materials in and out
- May go out on bookmobile runs
