Substitute Instructor
About The Position
The Substitute Instructor teaches in a regular classroom setting, presenting instruction in a designated subject area. The role promotes a positive classroom atmosphere to support student motivation and maintains classroom discipline to support learning. The Substitute Instructor also maintains student personnel folders and records and forwards daily attendance to the Student Records area. This position is part-time, scheduled for up to 29 hours per week, at an hourly rate of $20.00. Employment is contingent on passing a nationwide criminal background check, and applicants must pass a drug screen in accordance with the Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a drug screen in compliance with the Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
- Successfully complete a nationwide criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Teaching certification.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
