Substitute Group Aide

Under the supervision of the Program Administrator, the Substitute Group Aide is responsible for assisting in the implementation of the after-school program.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Must have some experience working with children.
- Must have pre-employment medical exam and TB test.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, preparing and implementing daily activities.
- Assist in assuring individual childcare plans are being followed adequately. Confer with Program Coordinator immediately if concerns arise pertaining to a child’s condition or needs.
- Assist in completion of necessary paperwork.
- Assist in food preparation, serving and clean-up.
- Clean indoor and outdoor equipment and supplies regularly; assist program participants in Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
- Assist with program wherever else necessary as indicated by the Program Coordinator.
- Attend staff meetings, parent/staff conferences and any other training meetings deemed necessary by the Program Coordinator.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Division Director or Designee
