About The Position

The substitute food service worker works in a local school kitchen or cafeteria on an as-needed basis. The role supports food preparation and service, sanitation, inventory controls, register operation, and cleaning. Work hours are daylight, Monday through Friday, with no evenings or weekends.

Requirements

• Obtain required clearances and pass criminal background checks.
• Be able to read recipes and perform basic math.
• Demonstrate a positive and consistent work ethic.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Be willing to learn and grow in the position.
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food.
