Substitute Campus Safety Officer
About The Position
The Ontario-Montclair School District is seeking Substitute Campus Safety Officers to work on an on-call, as-needed basis. Applicants must meet the stated education, experience, testing, and certificate requirements. Required documents must be scanned and attached to the EdJoin application before the closing deadline; incomplete applications or missing documents will not be accepted. Qualified applicants may be notified by email of testing details. Testing may include written, oral, performance, or other evaluations, and applicants must pass all tests to continue in the process. Further screening and an oral interview may occur. New hires may be required to complete a baseline physical examination before their first day of employment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with youths in a school or organized setting.
- Pass a pre-employment physical examination.
- Pass an agility test selected by the District before employment.
- Valid California driver's license.
- Driving record acceptable to the District's insurance carrier.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificate.
- PC 832 Certificate.
- SB1626 Certificate.
- Attach copies of the required certificates and proof of high school graduation or GED to the EdJoin application before the closing deadline.
