About The Position

This position is for Substitute Bus Drivers and Bus Driver Trainees. Applicants must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, which include significant lifting (10lbs-50lbs), carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, as well as frequent climbing and balancing. The role generally requires 65% sitting, 30% walking, and 5% standing.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Transporting students over scheduled routes and/or to/from special excursions
• Ensuring vehicle is in safe operating condition
• Ensuring safety of students during transport
• Loading and unloading from buses
• Working with other employees as required
