About The Position

HDR is hiring a Substation Structural Intern to contribute to engineering projects while gaining real-world experience. The intern will apply standard engineering techniques and procedures and complete assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager. The position also offers opportunities to connect with recent graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Commitment to actively participating in HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably have completed two years toward a degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to the field of study or industry.
