Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering students to join its Charleston, South Carolina office. This is an onsite position, not remote. Structural Interns contribute to structural pre-construction and design efforts for public and/or private bridge projects, including bridges and retaining walls. They use technical software to analyze, produce, and quality-control client deliverables; prepare structural plans, specifications, and estimates; and collaborate with project managers and teams across disciplines. Interns also develop familiarity with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn and client practices, procedures, and standards. They will learn one or more software programs, which may include AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, VISSIM, OpenRoads, Synchro, and/or GIS.
